Consultants in Exceptional Education, LLC. has been approved by the New York State Education Department to provide the required training in “The Needs of Students with Autism”.  http://www.highered.nysed.gov/ocue/news/autismproviders.html

This three hour training has been developed in accordance with SED’s autism syllabus.  It is required for all persons applying for a certificate as a special education teacher or as a school administrator who works in special education. 

This course is also open to anyone who is interested in a general overview of autism within the educational setting.

The next training will be held on  Thursday April 26, 2012. Time:4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suite  3615 Vestal Parkway East in Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
