Michael Lo Gallo and Elizabeth Smithmeyer are partners in Consultants in Exceptional Education, LLC.  Between them, they have more than eighty years of experience in working with students and adults with special needs.  Both are New York state certified teachers in both general and special education areas, and Mike has full administrative credentials as well.

Mike and Liz have designed and presented many professional trainings and inservice education programs. They have produced several training modules for paraprofessionals who work with students with disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorders. They have also created and presented comprehensive parent-training programs for families of children and teens with ASD.

They believe in the transformative power of education at every stage of life.
